Materials:

- Printable: You can download the free printable I made for this craft below. You can also draw flowers on a white piece of paper.
- Markers: I used the Crayola pastel pack to give this craft a soft, spring-inspired feel.
- Aluminum foil: Regular kitchen foil you already have at home works perfectly for this craft.
- Spray bottle: Any household spray bottle will work for this craft—just fill it with water. A plastic bottle is best, since it’s lightweight and easy for kids to handle.
- Tray: This is optional, but using a tray or another hard surface can provide extra support while working on the craft.

Instructions:

1. Tear a piece of aluminum foil and press it flat onto a tray or hard surface. Make sure it’s slightly larger than a standard sheet of paper.

2. Next, use the markers to color different sections on the foil, filling as much of the surface as possible with vibrant color.

3. Using the water-filled spray bottle, lightly mist the colored aluminum foil until the surface is evenly covered and fully wet.

4. Place the printable (flower side down) onto the wet, marker-colored foil. Gently press all over the paper to ensure full contact so the colors transfer evenly.

5. Carefully peel back the paper and remove from foil.

6. After letting dry for a few hours, enjoy the vibrant multi-colored art work!

This transfer art for kids craft is such a simple yet magical way to create beautiful, one-of-a-kind flower designs that truly feel special. It’s an easy activity to set up, fun for little hands, and perfect for celebrating the colors of spring while making a sweet keepsake. My toddler has been so excited about the results that they’ve asked to do this craft every single day since we finished it—and honestly, I don’t blame them!
