  • Paint: I chose vibrant Crayola washable paint for this craft. Your kids will be using their hands to manipulate the fork so washable paint is important here!
  • Forks: Any plastic fork that you have at home can be used for this craft.
  • Acrylic marker: I chose a green acrylic marker to draw the flower stems, as it gives a more vibrant, bold finish. That said, any green marker will work—if you expect little hands to get messy, washable markers are a great option for easy cleanup.
  • Construction paper: Any colored construction paper can be used for this craft.

1. Pour the paint onto a paint palette or plate. Press the back side of the fork down into the paint ensuring that all the prongs are covered in paint as well as most of the base of the fork.

2. Press the fork down onto the construction paper. Press the base of the fork onto the paper first, then gently press the prongs down to complete the print.

3. Dip just the tips of the fork into green paint, then press them onto the bottom of the paper to create a grass effect.

4. Once the paint has dried, take the marker and draw stems onto the tulips.

This fork tulip painting craft for kids is a simple and fun way to celebrate spring while getting creative with your little ones. With minimal setup and easy-to-find materials, it’s perfect for a quick activity that still delivers beautiful results. Whether you’re crafting for fun or making a sweet handmade gift, this project is sure to bring smiles all around.
